About Sarah
I am a Melbourne newborn photographer who specialises in twins and triplets.
I've also spent nearly 13 years as a NICU nurse and I am still nursing because 'once a nurse, always a nurse!' As a result, I am highly experienced handling and soothing babies. The safety of your newest addition is my number one priority.
I have photographed numerous multiples in my photography career, as well as babies with cardiac conditions, premature babies etc.
I also have lots of experience with older children with special needs, for example, autism or trisomy 21.
My approach to photography is natural and simple and I hope that each families individual personality shines through.
I have also been an active volunteer photographer for Heartfelt for many years.

All my newborn photography sessions are shot on location in YOUR home.
No need to take your precious babies out and about.
It also means that we can take gorgeous lifestyle photos which are the perfect way to remember your hectic new life!
I photograph babies together as well as separately.
All babies have their own personalities, even identical twins and triplets! I want their individual personalities to shine by taking photos of them on their own.
I never charge extra for multiples!
My prices are affordable.
My prices include all digital images with no more hidden fees to pay. I offer payment plans for those who need. Parents with multiples already have to pay double or triple for everything, I will never charge extra for multiples.
Often multiple parents are so overwhelmed they just want a short session, I am proud to offer my short session (which is babies only) to these families.

When is the best time to get newborn photos taken?
Many photographers insist on babies being under 2 week of age for their photos. As this is often complicated for twins or triplets, who have a higher chance of being born a little early and so having a bit longer of a hospital stay.
I often take photos of newborns over 2 weeks of age. I have photographed a lot of premature babies and usually try and photograph them the week they come home from hospital.
